This program, developed by the College Board (the creators of AP courses and exams), aims to enhance critical thinking, research, collaboration, and presentation skills through rigorous academic training, preparing students for college and beyond. Only about 2,000 of the 42,000+ high schools in the U.S. offer this distinctive diploma.

Course Structure
AP Seminar
[10th Grade]
Students begin with AP Seminar, usually in the 10th grade. This course teaches them to analyze topics from various perspectives, evaluate sources, and craft persuasive arguments. It includes team projects, individual essays, and multimedia presentations.
AP Research
[11th Grade]
Following AP Seminar, students take AP Research in the 11th grade. They conduct an independent research project with the guidance of a mentor, culminating in a research paper or creative project and a final presentation. This course develops advanced research skills.
