Yes—if you follow a focused, strategic plan. Our ACT Prep Class is designed to support 2–3 month sprints with weekly instruction, targeted drills, and official-style mock exams.

The ACT and SAT test different skills: ACT is faster-paced with a Science section, while SAT emphasizes adaptive logic. IvyMax helps students choose the right test—and trains them for either with expert-guided support.

The ACT consists of four required sections—English, Math, Reading, and Science—with an optional Writing section. Each section tests different skill sets: grammar and sentence logic, problem-solving in math, reading comprehension, and data interpretation in science. Time limits are strict, and pacing is a key challenge for many students.

What our Students say their experience?

Hear directly from our students about their experiences with our programs and how these opportunities have positively influenced their academic journeys.

Eaton C.

10th Grade

“I started with a 24 and really struggled with timing, especially on the Reading section. IvyMax helped me understand how to approach each passage and manage my pace. I ended up scoring a 32 on my second test.”

Brian O.

11th Grade

“I liked that the ACT classes split English/Reading and Math/Science. It made it easier to focus on one thing at a time. The strategies for Science were super useful—I went from guessing to actually understanding the graphs.”

Ember Q.

11th Grade

“The mock exams were very realistic. I was able to see my mistakes under pressure and fix them before the real test. The score reports and review helped me jump from a 28 to a 34.”
